Through her family’s story, Tammy Westergaard shares practical encouragement to trust God, lean on others, and hold fast to the steady hope found in Christ.

Tammy reflects on how leaning on Jesus, accepting the support of others, and holding to unshakable hope can sustain us through life’s darkest valleys.

About Our Speaker

Tammy Westergaard is a wife, mother, and compassionate advocate for families affected by mental illness. She and her husband, Matt, are parents to Isaac and his wife, Emily, as well as daughters Lily and Leah. Through her family’s experiences with bipolar disorder, anxiety, and self-harm, Tammy has developed a heartfelt desire to offer hope, encouragement, and practical support to others walking similar journeys. Tammy lives in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and has served as the Daycare Director at Good News Children’s Center for 25 years.
